Odlin County Park is a great spot for cyclists and motorists to overnight. Located on the beach, naturally, the park features 30 shore sites facing Shaw Island and a few sites on the trees on the bank. A short trail for cyclists or hikers wanting to get away from it all will lead you to these. Visitors can enjoy beach combing, wading, a covered picnic site, and barbecues. The park’s excellent location just under two miles from the ferry landing makes it handy for cyclists to drop off their gear before exploring the rest of the island unencumbered.
Spencer Spit Park is the jewel in the crown, however, with campsites appealing to all tastes, an extensive spit to explore, and wonderful recreational opportunities. (See Marine Parks) Cyclists and hikers have the best choice, being able able to get away from traffic by selecting forest or beach sites.Upright Channel State Park, located on the northwest side of Lopez, is a day use park only, with 4 picnic sites, pit toilets and a few mooring buoys.

Agate Beach Day Park, conveniently located just past MacKaye Harbor at the end of the road, has a small beach access and forest trails on the other side of the road. It’s a good picnic or swimming spot in the summer.
